It occurs to me the important thing about the hype cycle isn’t just where we are, but how high and low we expect the peak, valley, & equilibrium to be. Two contrasting expectations:

Blockchain: high peak, low valley, low equilibrium

GenAI: high peak, high valley, high equilibrium
